We help you buy and sell contemporary art online.

Kunzt was founded in Belgium in 2005 by Kris Ghesquière, as a way to buy and sell original artworks, limited edition prints and sculptures by the world’s best artists. We partner with galleries and publishers from around the globe and we invite collectors to consign their works to sell to our our database of over 40.000 worldwide subscribers. We are one of Europe’s longest-existing online galleries, and each work on kunzt.gallery is curated and there for its quality and authenticity.

Can I view the artwork in person prior to purchase?

Our inventory is housed all over the world, so we are not always able to accommodate viewing sessions prior to purchase. If an artwork is located near you, we can arrange an appointment to view the artwork. If this is not the case, please use our “Zoom” and “View in a Room” features for a more detailed look at an item.

Do you provide framing services?

We do not offer framing services as this would increase both the risk of damaging the artwork during shipping and the transport costs due to additional weight. If you are interested in framing, please contact us at contact@kunzt.gallery and we'd be happy to help you find a framer nearby.

How do I know if the artwork is authentic?

We pride ourselves on the reliability and competency of our selected galleries.
We guarantee that all works listed on kunzt.gallery come from a trustworthy partner or publisher.
All works are signed by the artist, and most come with a certificate of authenticity (COA). This certificate guarantees the authenticity of the work. It is signed by the artist, by his/her legal representative or by the gallery.
In case the seller is a collector, we ask for a clear provenance and/or certificates .

What are your return and cancellation policies?

Items offered through kunzt are not eligible for return and cannot be canceled at any time once an order is placed. These sales are final.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We believe that collecting art is a special occasion, and so there are no shopping carts, registration forms or credit-card entries on our site. You may pay through bank transfer. In some cases, we might accept cash payment and/or credit cards (a 2.5% fee will be added) . Please note that every order must be fully paid for before we ship the artwork.

How do I know if an item is available?

All items are available for sale unless indicated as “sold” or “currently not available.” Due to the nature of kunzt’s partnership and consignment structure, rare instances occur when an item’s sold-out status is not immediately updated.

How are shipping costs determined?

Shipping cost is not included in the list price. They are determined based on the price, dimensions, and weight of the item purchased, as well as by the item’s origin and the shipping destination. Please email us to provide an estimate of shipping costs on a work you are interested in.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we are happy to ship most artworks to any destination in the world.

Will I be liable to pay import duty on my artwork?

Additional taxes can be applied if artworks are sent across country borders – these taxes are called customs duties and vary according to the countries involved and what is being shipped. Please consult your local customs office for more details about duties and taxes.
