Bert Stern was an American artist. His father was a children’s portrait photographer. Bert Stern first became an art director for a magazine. This is where he learned to first develop film and make contact sheets, and he began to take his ow pictures. Shortly after, he was drafted into the United States Army and his assignment was in the photographic department. In the 70s Bert Stern started to create photograph portraits and fashion. Bert Stern became famous for "The Last Sitting." A collection of over 2500 photos in a short three day period of Marilyn Monroe for Vogue Magazine.
