Among his sculptures, the Pet Shop project is perhaps his most recognised – the project is a series of sculptures comprised of ‘model babies’ for every season, Baby Fetish. Asides from his creative outputs, Upadhyay founded Sandarbh, a non-profit organization created to promote and raise awareness of the arts in the more rural areas of India – the foundation hosts several workshops and programs and is renowned for uniting artists all over India and also has an extensive reach across the globe.
