Ralph Gibson is a well known photographer with a passion for book making. He works exclusively with Leica cameras, and has been for the past fifty years. Influenced most by several different photographers including Robert Frank, Ralph Gibson's work is featured in over one hundred and fifty museums all over the world. Gibson has published several books that have been met with high critical praise and popularity throughout the Art World. Some of his works include Days at Sea, Syntax and Tropism. Ralph Gibson has also received many prestigious awards over the years for his unique books and his approach and worth with photography. These awards include the '150 Years of Photography Award,' as well as the 'Leica Medal of Excellence Award.' Gibson was born in the United States and lives in a home in New York City with his wife.
