Original Signed Artworks & Limited Edition Prints For Sale

Post-war abstract artist, Agostino Bonalumi, was known for the inventive monochromatic 3D "Extroflections" in rebellious response to the 1950's informal abstract expression movement.
Having a principal role in one of art history's most influential movements, the Zero movement, Bonalumi used geometry in his art to bolster the evolution of hoping to generate prevalent methods individualizing lyrical artistic expressionism devoid of emotion.
With the use of primary colors along with a black and white contrast to draw the viewer's eye to the protruding design, his technique allows the viewer to project their own interpretation of this non-interpreted style of art. Agostino pulled from his sculpting and draughtsmanship experience to revolutionize the world view of the Italian art scene. Bonalumi quotes Confucius saying, “It's so damn corny … but this quote says all about my relationship with Widewalls… Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” He showed the world that you can make a statement without making a statement, without even saying a word.

What is ‘light and space’?

What is ‘light and space’?

Refers to loosely affiliated movements that relate to minimalism, geometric abstraction and op art that originated from Southern California back in the 1960s and was greatly influenced by John McLaughlin. Artists focused on sensory phenomena such as light and others as the center of their work. In addition, they incorporated latest technologies in aerospace and engineering industries so as to develop light filled and sensuous objects.
