Original Signed Artworks & Limited Edition Prints For Sale

Paloma Varga-Weisz is known for her outstanding drawings and sculptures. She is a very multi-faceted artist in every sense of the word. The first art that ever did move her was that belonging to her father Feri Varga, who was a Hungarian born artist. Feri Varga had spent most of his life in France, but moved to Germany in the 1950s, in order to be with Paloma Varga-Weisz’s mother.

Paloma Vargas Weisz has spent almost her entire life exposed around art.

What is Surrealism?

Surrealism began in the 1920s with artists and writers whose works aimed to reveal the unconscious to unleash subconscious imagination, and explore unusual imagery. Bringing the unconscious into rational life was one key thematic goal of this group influenced by Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalysis theories.
