Relief printing

Relief printing is the process of etching or cutting a printed surface so that the design which will be printed is the only part left. Removing all the parts not wanted in the final product allows only the design to be printed.

Textile

Textile is the term used to describe a flexible material formed by weaving, felting, crocheting, knitting or knotting long strands of natural or artificial yarn or thread. Textile artists often create their own textiles, or use selected ones in fabric art compositions.

Offset Print

Printing technique that transfers the inked image(offsets) to rubber blanket from a plate, then later to a printing surface. Combined with lithographic process based on water and oil repulsion, this technique attracts a film that is water based to keep the non-printing area ink free. Offset lithography was initially created to cut down expenses when reproducing artwork.
