What is a multiple?

Series of art objects that are identical commissioned and produced by an artist in accordance with his idea, usually a limited edition that is specifically made for the purpose of selling. Multiples have been said by many to be the most reasonably priced and accessible contemporary art out there in the market, fun and value for money. They are brought together by their lack of unique nature that's usually regarded as a vital prerequisite in artwork.

Artwork by Jeff Koons
New Topographics

New Topographics is the term created in 1975 by William Jenkins to describe photographers whose work was mostly formal black and white images of urban landscapes. He felt their aesthetic was banal, but the photographers felt their compositions were as important as natural landscapes.

Pastel

Art medium in a stick form that consists of powdered pigment and binder. Pigments used for pastes are the same as those used in producing art media(colored). Pastel's color effect is closely similar to dry pigments than the effects of any other related process. Artworks produced using pastels are called pastel painting, pastel drawing or simply pastel. Pastel can also mean the production of artwork using pastels.

Body Print

Depending on the artist's intention, body print may be executed in different ways that include smearing of grease or margarine on the skin, hair and clothes or by pressing oneself against a piece of paper then dust the oiled imprint with the pigment on the ground. The artist's body acts as the common printing plate, the "body print" however, does not work or act as a self portrait. It rather explores 2 competing identity conceptions.
