Kitsch is the term used to describe cheap, commercial, sentimental or vulgar pieces common to popular culture. It is the English use of a German word which actually means trash. Kitsch has described the opposite of high artwork since the 1920s.

Geometric Abstract art

This is one of the forms of abstract art that uses geometric forms placed into a non-illusionistic space (though not always) and then combined into non representational(non objective) compositions. From the experience and results of the many years of research in the area of art, artists have suggested that the process of geometric abstraction can be a solution to the modern problems where some artists have been rejecting illusionistic practices.

Appropriation

The use of images or pre-existing objects with application of little or completely no transformation to them. It has played a very significant role in the history of visual, musical, performing and literary arts. In visual arts for instance, to appropriate means properly adopting, sampling, recycling or borrowing aspects(even entire form) of artificial visual culture.
