Anti-art describes artwork which challenges accepted art definitions. The term is said to have been created by artist Marcel Duchamp who worked with the art media called readymades; everyday items presented as art to defy traditional expectations that art should be high art.
It is made on/with human body. Body piercings and tattoos are the common body arts. However, there are other types that include branding, scarification, scalping, body painting, full tattoo on the body, shaping and sub-dermal implants. Body art also refers to a sub category of performance arts.
