What is a portfolio?
Portfolio is the term used to describe a set or series of images collected in a folder to be stored or displayed. Artists often keep images together which they prefer to present as a group. Some are related thematically, while others are not.Artwork by Agnes Martin
Print made through the silver process(Gelatin) using the currently available photographic materials, the printing papers and the black and white films. In this process, the silver-salts suspension in gelatin is coated to a support that could be a film or flexible plastic, a glass, a resin-coated or baryta paper. These materials are light-sensitive and very stable under the usual keeping conditions.
Conté is a vivid colored, waxy crayon. Nicolas-Jacques Conte’ invented them in 1795. Artists use sanding pads to sharpen their tips for drawing details, drag them flat on their sides for shading in large areas, and them to blend colors while drawing and sketching.
