Conté

Conté is a vivid colored, waxy crayon. Nicolas-Jacques Conte’ invented them in 1795. Artists use sanding pads to sharpen their tips for drawing details, drag them flat on their sides for shading in large areas, and them to blend colors while drawing and sketching.

Laser print

A Laser print is made using red, blue and green laser to expose light onto photographic silver halide paper. The exposed paper is processed with photographic chemicals to produce an archival quality print. The digital technology produces sharp images and highly uniform color.

Tapestry

Tapestry is a woven form of textile. It is generally heavy, and the completed work has a decorative pattern, design or realistic depiction of a portrait or real life activities. Tapestries were hung on castle walls and behind thrones as symbols of royal authority.
