What is Fluxus?
Art term taken from Latin word that means "flow-flux" . It is an international movement of designers, composers and artists popular for blending the different artistic disciplines and media during the 1960s. They have remained active in visual art, performance, design, architecture, urban planning and other artworks. Fluxus as an art term is sometimes known as inter-media. Photography is the process of creating an image on light sensitive materials. The image is produced by using a camera, which has a lens that focuses on light either reflected or emitted from an object. These visible wavelengths are used to reproduce the image seen.
Oil on paper is a technique which allows painters to use economical paper without the need to use primer before painting. Some are able to combine oil paints with solvents to achieve watercolor effects such as color washes with thinned paint, spattering and mingling colors.
Drawing and watercolor are two traditional art techniques which stand alone as media, but are often used in conjunction with each other. Drawing can create the basic outlines for watercolor painting. Drawing over dried watercolor or using watercolor pencils are combined media techniques.
