Marble is rare and expensive metamorphic rock comprise of limestone. It has been used for centuries to create statues, decorative floors and walls. Hard Edge art is a style of abstract painting which became popular in the 1960s. It included areas of color differentiated by the use of crisp, sharp edges which are precisely painted with geometric precision. Jules Langster described the art as hard-edge painting.
