Ephemeral Art

Ephemeral art only occurs one time. It generally lasts for a very short period of time, and cannot be displayed as a work of art in a gallery or museum. Performances, happenings, sound sculptures, flyers and mass produced items have all been ephemeral art.

Abstract art

Abstract art uses visual language of form, shape, line and color to achieve its desired effect. However, it does not attempt or seek to represent external reality but the created abstract art composition may exist with a level or degree of independence from the world's visual references.

Animation

Animation is the term used to describe the process of showing sequences of static images in quick succession to create the illusion that the images are moving. Illustrators painstakingly drew separate images, slightly changing the moving parts with each image creating a movement series.
