Textile

Textile is the term used to describe a flexible material formed by weaving, felting, crocheting, knitting or knotting long strands of natural or artificial yarn or thread. Textile artists often create their own textiles, or use selected ones in fabric art compositions.

Crayon

Crayon is the French word for pencil. It is a pointed stick of colored wax, chalk, charcoal or clay used for coloring and drawing. Crayons are made from paraffin wax derived from petroleum, coal or wood. Pastel and oil pastels are also types of crayons.

Papier-mâché

Composite material that consists of pieces of pulp or paper reinforced using textiles and bound using adhesives like starch, wallpaper paste or glue. Preparation of Papier Mache can take two methods, one uses paper strips that are glued together and the other method makes use of pulp that's obtained through boiling or soaking paper to which a glue is added. Each of the two methods has its own procedure. The results however, are not much different.
