What is wax?
Wax is a solid material derived from plant, animal and petroleum sources. Wax can help paints to resist wear. Xiamen Dada was a Chinese artist group from Xiamen city, on China’s southeast coast. The group, coming to prominence in the 1980s, explored the relationship between Chan Buddhism and European dada, embracing the absurd while using chance to determine the artworks made.
Futurism was an early twentieth century art movement seeking to capture the energy of the modern world. Italian Filippo Tommaso Marinetti published his Manifesto of Futurism on February 20, 1909, launching the modernist movement. It denounced the past, and embraced technology and industry.
